Software price increases 2026

What actually changed in StackScope's October 2026 recheck of nine software categories: confirmed price increases, new tiers and AI add-ons, and the promotions currently running. Only changes we could confirm against vendor pages are listed as increases; source conflicts are flagged rather than settled. For the full dated log see the pricing changelog.

Xero's increase applies to new and existing US subscribers and excludes add-ons and sales tax. Capterra currently shows stale pre-increase Xero figures ($25/$55), so StackScope uses the vendor's own pricing. Canva Business is shown as StackScope's updated figure against the roughly $20 per person used in earlier reports; the table does not claim a date for that change.

New

New tiers and AI add-ons

Tiers and add-ons that appeared, or were newly priced, in this recheck.

  • QuickBooks Online Plus, $140/month with 5 users and 2 accountants, is a real tier that existed but wasn't previously priced in the accounting report.
  • Calendly added AI-inclusive Standard Plus (listed at $18/$24) and Teams Plus (listed at $24/$32) tiers, bundling Notetaker and the Callie assistant. Core Standard and Teams pricing is unchanged.
  • PandaDoc AI Renewals, automatic contract-renewal detection, is $20 per seat per month on Business and included on Enterprise.
  • Help Scout AI Answers is $0.75 per resolution after a 3-month free trial.
  • Zendesk AI Agents bill per resolution beyond a monthly allowance, at $1.50 committed or $2.00 pay-as-you-go, and Copilot is $50 per agent per month.
  • Intercom Fin bills $0.99 per outcome on top of seats, and Copilot adds $29 per agent per month billed annually or $35 monthly.
  • Justworks now lists Time Tracking at $8 per employee and International Contractors at $39 per contractor.
  • ADP RUN now explicitly includes a "Complete Payroll & HR Plus" tier between Enhanced and HR Pro. It is still quote-only.
  • Figma changed its AI credit allowances on August 25, 2026 (Starter 500, Professional 3,000, Organization 3,500, Enterprise 4,250). Add-on prices are unchanged.

Promotions

Promotions running now

Discounted prices that are not the standing rate. Budget around the standard price, not the promo.

  • HubSpot Sales Hub Starter is $7/month for new customers under a limited-time promotion, confirmed still active. The standard rate is $20/month.
  • Dropbox Sign offers 15% off the first 3 months on monthly billing or 30% off the first year on annual billing.
  • Mailchimp presents its 10,000-contact price as a first-year promotional rate for eligible businesses, not a guaranteed renewal rate.
  • QuickBooks Online advertises 50% off for 3 months for new customers. Free trials are not eligible.
  • Wave Pro is $9.50/month for the first 3 months, against a standard $19/month.
  • FreshBooks still shows 90% off for 3 months on its pricing page, while its own offer terms previously said that promotion ended August 18, 2026. StackScope has not resolved the conflict.

Stable

No price change

Vendors where this recheck confirmed core prices are the same.

  • Gusto, Sketch, Framer and Wave: core prices unchanged.
  • E-signature: core prices for DocuSign, PandaDoc, Dropbox Sign and SignNow confirmed unchanged this round.
  • Calendly: core Standard and Teams pricing unchanged.

Open

Source conflicts still unresolved

StackScope flags these rather than silently picking a side. Confirm with the vendor before buying.

  • SignNow: its own pricing pages say 100 envelopes per user per year, while other pages advertise no envelope cap. Unresolved.
  • Salesforce: the Free Suite contact or record cap isn't consistently documented.
  • Rippling: G2 says no free trial, while Capterra says there is one.
  • Capterra shows figures that disagree with vendor pages for HubSpot, Pipedrive and Xero. StackScope uses the vendor figures and flags the conflict.
